Saint Martin of Tours Knights Of Columbus Visit University Synagogue

University Synagogue was estabished in 1943. St. Martin of Tours parish got its start in 1946.

We have been neighbors for a long time.

Our Knights of Columbus Council actively supports parish ministries, which includes the Jewish/Catholic Dialogue Group. So on Saturday March 28, at the invitation of the rabbi, members of the council accompanied other parishioners on a visit to the synagogue where Rabbi Feinstein gave a presentation on various aspects of the Jewish religion. After an explanation of the of the meaning and symbolism depicted in the stain glass windows in the synagogue sanctuary, the rabbi fielded lots of questions from a most interested audience.
